Soup Cans to Strengthen the Shoulder

The supraspinatus is a muscle that makes up the rotator cuff and is responsible for abduction.

Try this in you're next workout.  

Elevate two dumbbells at a 30 degree angle with your thumbs pointed towards the sky.  

Stop just below your shoulder and rotate your thumbs down toward the floor.

Now slowly lower the dumbbells down towards the ground until your back in the starting position.  

Perform with light weight

3 sets of 12-15 repetitions
