Instantly improve your flexibility with a tennis ball. This is great to incorporate before stretching.
First, measure your flexibility, by standing with your feet shoulder width apart, legs straight, bend forward to reach down towards your toes. Determine how far you can go.
Then, roll the arch of each foot with a tennis ball for a minute. Then re-test your flexibility. This will help improve the function of your connective tissue and instantly improve your flexibility. I like to incorporate this on a daily basis before I foam roll and stretch.
